CANADA



In this section you will find some information about Canada. I hope this will be educational for you. I will talk about the climate, transports, the tourism, the population, the resources and more. Sorry, no politics, it's just not my thing. I am not going to give you a complete analysis of Canada since it's not the main subject of this site.
 



Climate

Canada is no tropical island. It`s a rigorous climate. That explain why most cities are locate in the south, near the United States. Canada is also one of the rare country that have really four seasons. It's super hot in summer, the public pools are full. In the autumn we rake leaves and the trees are very beautiful. In winter, we have a bunch of snow on our heads, and it's -25 Celsius. In spring, we see the birds doing their nests. The precipitation are moderate and constant. However, the cities locate near the coast have strong rain, warmer winter but cooler summer. Snow in Montreal


 



Transports
 

plane Being the second largest country, the development of a transport system is very important for the economy. The TransCanada is the most important railroad system. it goes from the pacific coast to the Atlantic coast. The air service is also very developed. The Saint-Lawrence river has a impact on the economy. Millions of commercial boats navigate on that river.


Tourism
 

Each year, we receive more than 16 millions of tourists. Most of them come from the United States . They come for the beautiful landscapes and the variety of cultures. The most visited cities are Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Take a trip to Montreal to visit the Olympic Park, Vancouver to see the chinatown, or Toronto for the CN tower. Population

  Canada has a population over 31 millions inhabitants and most of them are in the south. Having a territorial surface of 9 976 140 kilometer square, the density isn't big. Canada is a multi-ethnic country because he attract a lot of immigrants with their free health-care and a excellent life condition. Most people lives in a urban area, only 23% are in a rural area. The official language is English and French. More than 50% are British descendants or French descendants. For religion, 46% are Catholic, 9% are Anglicans and 45% are other. As you can see, the ethnic is very diversify.


 



 

Resources
Canada has a very quantity of natural resources. It's the first exporter of forest products such as paper, and also a big exporter of wheat's, fur, and fish. Minerals are abundant too. We can find iron, nickel, asbestos, and gypsum. Most of the exportation and importation come from the United States.

Education
 
Chart Canada is the country that spends the most of his PIB (7,6%) on education. Having school is obligatory up to the age of 16. The charts show us that all the children goes to primary school, 93% continue school in high school, and more than 70% of them undertake superior studies - the highest rate ever in the world! As we can see, education is very important in Canada which have the highest level of education.


 



Health
 

The Canadian's health system is finance by a public insurance that cover the whole population. For now, we have one doctor for each 455 inhabitants which is excellent. However, with the passing of years, the government is spending more money because the population is getting older. He has to face some pressures that incite him to reduce the budget. The most common health problem in Canada are cardiac, respiratory, and cancer disease. health
