GENERAL OVERVIEW OF LATE:
Webmaster
Further:
Evaluated and tested most of the currently existing e-commerce
programs for small to midsized businesses.
Developed a tutorial for e-commerce startups.
Created a now, very popular ECommerce WEB site
which discloses the results of my evaluations.
NOTE: Used to have very high Search
Engine rankings with 1000+ site visits each and every day.
That was untill, my ISP bought out a bankcrupt ISP with
different infrastructure (servers and software), leaving my Telnet
Shell account and web sites unmanageable. I left that ISP and
subsequently lost my high rankings within the Search Engine Link
popularity status.
Did web site SE optimization
Also did much research into genomics, and discovered the important role
PERL played in disecting the huge amounts of data that was extracted
during the race for uncovering the secrets of the human genome.
Did Internet data mining and built a genomic web site from scratch
writing direct HTML code without using any HTML editor.
Previous to that:
Worked with various companies implementing, upgrading,
integrating and managing the operation of networked
systems including: Various UNIX flavours, Novell Lan
Workgroup for Windows, OS/2 Warp Connect, Novell, Win95/NT,
and LANtastic. Maintained, enhanced and / or setup
many companies networking systems, ranging in size from
small 6 user peer to peer networks, to two large double
100 user LAN systems with multiple servers, stretching
from Montreal to Atlanta GA., which I remotely controled
and administrated from Montreal.
Also implemented WAN support services between Ottawa,
Montreal, and the rest of their canadian branch offices.
Worked with AS/400 systems over ISDN and Frame Relay Links,
with redundent backup services provided by serial dial-up.
Wrote and maintained logs on activities, problems, system
and network configurations.
Wrote my own search engine using "C" which could search for
any phrase or word and yield results +- any specified bytes
before and after the predefined info desired, rather than
the usual that most programs offer, ie. just the particular
line(s) the phrase is found on.
