Well, someone told me to check out this new band from Chicago so I got their music and gave them a listen and holy freakin’ hell! I was knocked out of my chair by the awesome aural assault that ensued! The first thirty seconds of guitars on their CD tell you all you need to know about these guys. They are gonna rock you off your ass! Their CD “It comes To This” is jam packed with super high energy hard rock.

I particularly love the song writing on this album. The choruses are super passionate and catchy, and they’re surrounded by a smorgasbord of amazing guitar bridges and metal sections. Some of the guitar parts under the vocals just sweep you away with their driving rhythms, like in the song Running Behind, and Kryssie really knows how to just go with it. I just love it! Kryssie Ridolfi's singing style couldn’t be better matched for this band. She has plenty of power and soul, and a rawness that gives a hard edge to the vocal melodies. I can’t explain in words the amazing mix of Kryssie’s voice and the awesome metal guitars of Josh and JP, they just work so well together, you have to hear it for yourself.

You can hear several styles of music going on throughout the album. Some parts are metal, others are more progressive rock sounding and there are some alt rock influences as well, perhaps even some punk. It makes for a really diverse sounding album that keeps your attention. This is a pretty impressive first release and I think we can expect some amazing music from this band in the future as they mature and refine their sound. These rockers from Chicago are worth checking out, so grab their CD, you’ll love it!
