Porto Banus

later on in the day of the sun, apparently this is considered very nice weather even by Costa del Sol standards. the Irish couple says that this is a great place, and afer a day in the sun eating fresh figs from Richard's garden, sardines roasted over an open fire, and some nice cold sangria - i must say, i kinda like it here too. midday was scorching, even the icy chill of the water was refreshing. then back to the sun bed. over and over again. hmmmm is this what they mean by laying in the sun ... ? :-)

even the television says that the only summer left in Europe is right here.

now that it's evening, the sweat of midday is gone, and gives way to the gentlest of late summer breezes and the warmth of the setting sun. the waves begin their relaxing melodies and our 4:20 PM lunch of breaded chicken and grilled sardines is settling nicely in the bellies.
