Teaching

Over the course of the past eight years, students and teachers have enthusiastically participated in my percussion workshops. "The World of Percussion" is designed for children at the primary and high school level and can be given in English or in French. The workshop is conceived for discovery and participation; the students have a hands-on experience with the instruments



During the workshop I play a wide variety instruments:

Steel drum from Trinidad-Tobago

Gongs from China and Thailand

Dumbek from Egypt

Sanza from Africa

American drumset

And many more!


My workshop has been selected by the Minister of Culture and Communications for their program: Artists in Schools. The mandate of this program is to encourage the presence of professional artists in the schools.
