Your manuscript is ready, or so it seems, but are you ready to risk its rejection by a journal or publisher?
My job at this stage is to prepare you for the criticism of readers or reviewers. In a sense, that means being your worst enemy. If I don't point out conceptual problems, after all, they surely will. But I do much more than point out problems. I suggest solutions, or at least ways of finding them.
